The Spring Market in Colmar
Colmar celebrates the arrival of sunny days from April 4 to 27 with its 13th edition of the spring market. This festive and colorful event has become a must over the years at Easter.
The opportunity to discover Colmar in a new light thanks to these two markets set up in the heart of the city, Place des Dominicains and Place de l'Ancienne Douane.
Between crafts, gastronomy and concerts, come and celebrate spring in Alsace!
For 3 weeks, the cobbled streets of the historic center, enhanced by flowers and Easter decorations, create a warm and festive atmosphere.
70 Alsatian exhibitors welcome you to their wooden chalet in the city center of Colmar. You can find many objects there such as household linen, decoration, soaps, toys and jewelry.
The most gourmands will be able to discover some Alsatian specialties such as Alsatian beers, jams, foie gras, gingerbread or even tartes flambées. The little ones will be delighted to taste a good crepe or a chocolate skewer.
During this period, Colmar comes alive with a multitude of activities for the whole family.
Four exhibitions and sales will be held at the Koïfhus, an emblematic building of Colmar's heritage, to highlight the know-how of local artisans. If you are a fan of art and decoration, you will be able to admire a selection of unique works and objects.
At the same time, the streets of Colmar will vibrate to the rhythm of open-air concerts on the town squares between pop, rock and jazz. Street shows will complete this program.
A mini-farm will allow the youngest to discover farm animals such as rabbits, sheep and goats.
Finally, independent winegrowers will open their cellars to let you taste Alsatian grape varieties.
